About Us
Established in the 1930s, Welch Transfer & Storage is the oldest moving and storage company in San Angelo. When Welch Transfer & Storage was purchased from the original Welch family members in 1988, a reputation for quality and care had to be maintained. We believe those same attributes are a key to keeping the reputation alive and well. The company is a firm believer in the need for quality and care in these days of price warfare. The best move at the fairest price is paramount.

Welch Transfer & Storage is consistently a member of this important group. The award is based on points earned in the areas of customer service ratings and data pertaining to claims, safety, and estimating accuracy. Quality will not be sacrificed in favor of speed or price.
Certified Moving Consultants (CMC)
Both partners have been CMCs since 1999. To obtain the CMC designation, we complete ongoing training in the moving and storage field. We are required to complete a minimum of eight hours of continuing education and training to become recertified. The training must relate to our position in the moving and storage industry.
In the area of personal growth, a CMC is required to attend state association meetings, van line conventions, business seminars, American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA)-sponsored seminars, complete any sales or business courses or an AMSA Mentor program. These events help our representatives stay informed of changes in the industry.
